Rebecca Dowling moved to Texas in 2010 and currently resides in the SE Houston area. She works as a bookkeeper for an investment firm in Stafford, TX, and has over 10 years accounting experience. She has a daughter, son-in-law and three grandchildren here in Texas.


Rebecca graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies with Education and Psychology Emphases from the College of Notre Dame in Belmont, CA. She received her teaching credential and taught at both the elementary and middle school levels. In 2012, Rebecca graduated from Biblical Life Skill Institute and was certified as a counselor in the Messiah Method of Biblical counseling.


Rebecca has been a life-long member of the United Methodist Church. She has served in many capacities including small group leader, 4th grade Sunday School teacher, Certified Youth Worker for both middle and high school youth, worship committee chair, and in the adult choir and praise band.


Rebecca has been volunteering with Anchor of Hope since 2011 and became a board member in 2012. She is a trained prayer team member and co-teaches The Search for Significance classes with Sissy Landry.
